Witter Detachable Swan Towbar (horizontal loading)

The Witter detachable swan neck towbar is slim, secure and simple to use. Most towball mounted bike carriers are suitable for this type of towbar but be aware that this means that you cannot tow at the same time. The detachable towball neck is easily removed and stows away in its own bag when not in use. Only a small part of your towbar remains visible when detached. When fitted it has a safety lock feature to give a visual indicator of correct attachment and it can also be locked to prevent theft. *Please note some manufacturers offer rear towing valances, these are not included in our price.

Universal electrics are compatible with all vehicles and provide legal lighting requirements, but the functionality is limited. Because newer cars have sophisticated electrical systems, a universal wiring kit cannot support complex safety functions, and you would also need a towbar wiring bypass relay. However, if you have an old car with limited electrical functions, a universal wiring kit would work fine.

Our records show that your vehicle requires a software update to activate all additional benefits and safety features. We can offer this coding upgrade as part of the fitting for an additional fee of £72.00.

Please note that your vehicle requires coding. However, this can currently only be done by a dealer of your vehicle's manufacturer.

When you choose to get your Towbar fitted at one of our approved fitting centres or with one of our mobile fitters, your Towbar will be delivered to your fitter ready for installation.

However, if you want to choose your own fitter, your towbar and electrics will be delivered to your chosen address on the next working day you place your order before 2:30pm.
