The SimpleFix System allows you to attach the roofbox to your car quickly and securely – the three-point locking system provides extra security. Ratchet straps are also included with this roof box which allows you to secure your load in the box. The box can be locked to the roof bars (sold separately) and the box itself is also lockable so the contents of the box are safe from thieves. In addition, the box opens to either side which means that you will never have to stand in the road when you are trying to load your roofbox in Europe. The RBX480 can be attached to both square steel roof bars (up to 7cm) and oval shaped aluminium roof bars by simply using the adapter that comes with the roofbox. For easy storage on your garage wall simply use the integrated wall mount.
